The impudent US ambassador in Lebanon

The man has been in his new job for a few days and he managed, in the manner of colonial viceroys, to offend and insult the Lebanese people.  First, he spoke today about "the best interests of the Lebanese people".  Who are you to speak on behalf of the interests of the Lebanese people? Imagine if the Lebanese ambassador in Lebanon were to pontificate on the "best interests of the American people".  He would be dispatched to Guantanamo on the spot, or a drone would be sent after him.  Secondly, and most audaciously, he called on Hizbullah to desist from intervention in Lebanon, and then left the country hurriedly because he wants to avoid any harm from the imminent US war of aggression on...Syria.  What impudence.  The US is going thousands of miles away from its shore to intervene in Syria and has the audacity to lecture Hizbullah (across the border) to refrain from intervention? Are you serious, or misled by instructions from back home?
