Adel Imam

"Egyptian actor Adel Imam, has shocked many of his fans by expressing understanding for Israel's military operation in the Gaza Strip." First, who cares what Adel Imam has to say, especially that the last time he was funny was around 1978 or 1979. Secondly, the Jerusalem Post (which had the audacity to request an interview with me a few years ago although I of course did not reply) is typically lying. Adel Imam did NOT express understanding for Israeli terrorism in Gaza. His point was basically to support Husni Mubarak and the government's stance on Rafah. But then again, if I read an article in the Jerusalem Post that does not contain at least 10 lies, I usually am surprised. Aghast, really. What do you expect from a newspaper whose in-house expert on Arab affairs is Khaled Abu Toameh who seems to fabricate interviews with "senior Hamas officails" or "senior Fatah people" who always tell him how much they like Netanyahu. And Adel Imam has categorically rejected normalization with Israel. So there.
