An-Nahar: to sell copies they fabricated a story of a gay wedding in Lebanon

I have been writing about the sagging fortunes of An-Nahar (the right-wing, sectarian Christan, racist newspaper) in Lebanon. It was until the 1980s the leading paper in Lebanon.  So what did they do? They see two male guests at a wedding in Lebanon, so they print their picture and claim that they just got married.  When the men protested An-Nahar was forced to admit that their reporter fabricated the story.
