The Times on the Cultural Revolution

Notice when reporting about enemy countries, reporters of the Times are permitted to use polemical and emotional language of outrage:  "the terrible deeds of the Cultural Revolution." Oh, really? Was the US war in South East Asia also terrible? Has the US occupation of Arab lands and its war crimes been terrible? Has the US war in Iraq and Afghanistan been terrible?
