Oh, the Times does admit that Palestinians retaliated by it then said that Israel retaliated first

Do you know how much work and manipulation of language goes into drafting the dispatches of the New York Times:  "The Islamic Jihad assault came in retaliation for Israel’s killing of three of its members who had shot a mortar at Israeli soldiers working on the Gaza side of the fence."
