Sistani: cleric of the occupation

This is by far one of the worst characters of contemporary Arab history.  He should be remembered the way we remember Antoine Lahd and Fu'ad Sanyurah.  This demagogic cleric is also a liar.  He claimed for years that he does not communicate with the American occupier.  Yet, the account of the various officials of occupation show that there were messages back and forth all the time.  The diary of Nabih Birri from July war on Lebanon reveals that Sistani sent a message (a most lousy and weak message) to the Bush administration on the Israeli war on Lebanon after Qana massacre II.
