Look at this statement in the WSJ

It implies that Jews and Christians can't be radical: "“The disappearance of such minorities sets the stage for more radical groups to dominate in society,” said Mr. Johnson of the loss of Christians and Jews in the Middle East. “Religious minorities, at the very least, have a moderating effect.”"  Religious minorities don't necessarily have a moderating effect: Bashir Gemayyel and the Phalanges, not to mention Zionist groups in the Middle East have hardly had a moderating impact on the region.
