Leon Wieseltier: the successor to Elie Wiesel as the most annoying Zionist poseur

He holds the Isiah Berlin's chair at Brookings.  This is like saying that Sean Hannity occupies the Hannah Arendt chair in media studies.  I like how mainstream media always act that Wieseltier is deep and insightful and I am yet to read one original idea by him, and his style (at least here) is like the vapid speeches of Elie Wiesel.  But I will tell you this: I never knew before today that he really cares about Arab lives.  Try to apply his insincere words to Israeli slaughter over the deduces when he was either silent or supportive.
