Obama calling on Muslim leaders in the US

Westerners still insist on treating Islam like the Catholic church, where there is a real hierarchy and Pope and bishops.  There is no such thing n Islam, damn it. There are no Muslim leaders in the US.  The Shi`its case is different because they have their "objects of emulation" but those are not one person and are multipole and are chosen freely by believers.  This is the weakness/strength of Islam: that it has no hierarchy and not real religious leaders.  The Mufti of AlAzhar is mocked daily on social media and he is treated by Western media as if he is the supreme leader of Sunni Muslims.
