I have never heard of a colonial power as considerate as the US: the Syrian opposition meeting in Saudi Arabia

So the US government sent a special Syria envoy to attend the Syrian opposition meeting in Riyadh. That is significant because that means that he will be seated in the same room with Ben Ladenites and other Al-Qa`idah affiliates.  But the conference announced that the US envoy will leave the room when the meeting gets serious--kid you not.  It said that he will even tip-toe so as not to wake up those who are dozing off.
