It occurred to me yesterday, that the following states and organizations funded and/or armed Walid Jumblat:
Syria, Iraq (of Saddam Husayn although the Syrian regime when it sponsored him asked him to sever his ties with Saddam), USSR, East Germany, Cuba, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, USA, UAE, PLO, Israel, France, UK, Qatar, Algeria, Yemen, and Jordan. This is a man who speaks for sovereignty in Lebanon these days.
