From Stanley: "Wonder if you know about the situation of Amer Jubran. He is a Palestinian activist who lived in Rhode Island and was quite active at demonstrations. He was "voluntarily" deported from the U.S. after a couple political arrests in 2004. Heard nothing about him since until last week. Apparently he was taken away by the Jordanian Mukhabarat on May 5, and no one knows anything more about him.
