Anne Barnard of the Times told us that the Syrian opposition was jubilant at the Swiss conference while Liz Sly (and she is as intense as Barnard in support for the Syrian "revolution") says this: "Syrian activists who came to cover the meeting for opposition news organizations expressed disappointment at the government’s refusal to compromise."
