PS I once was on a panel with Lebanese columnist at Ash-Sharq Al-Awsat (mouthpiece of Prince Salman), Iyad Abu Shaqra. He was reading his paper and it to this point: "As a keen observer for Middle East politics, I believe..." Kid you not. When he first read "As a keen observer", I assumed that he was going to site somebody else.
