The Economist follows in the footsteps of the lousiest media: it declares the Saudi King a feminist

"For the first time, too, women have allies in government. Earlier this year King Abdullah named 30 female members to the previously all-male Shura Council, the royally-appointed proto-parliament."  There is an vice-president in Iran, who is clearly less powerless than those Shura members, but the Economist would never in a million years claim that "women in Iran have allies in government".
