Freedom House: and its lists

Who takes seriously the lists and rankings by Freedom House? The organization, I thought, discredited itself back during the Cold War.  Look at their lists: I can judge them by referring to the Middle East section.  They give preferential treatment to countries that are aligned with the US.  Notice that Iran is at the bottom of the list of internet freedom: I mean, Iran deserves a very bad rank, but bottom? Worse than Saudi Arabia? Are you serious?  To Freedom House I can only say: go play in the garden.
