Bashshar's interview with Al-Akhbar

I have not read the full text of Bashshar Al-Asad's interview with Al-Akhbar (and others) but the excerpts are enough.  The man (who is extremely unfunny) revealed himself to be what I always said he was: a tyrant son of a tyrant.  He was flippant and seems totally insensitive to the tragedy that the Syrian people are going through.  His jokes were jarring and grotesque, and he and the armed gangs he is facing should be excluded from any political settlement for the future of Syria.
