Assyrians under attack in Syria

I have noticed that the Assyrians in my area (the second largest Assyrians in the US after Illinois is in the Central Valley of California) are overwhelmingly sympathetic to the Bashshar's government out of fear of the dangers and horrors of the armed groups.  Yesterday, without any attention from Western media, an Assyrian town came under attack by your "revolutionary" gangs.
