Who says that House of Saud frowns on good music?

"A popular song in Syria today might not strike Westerners as particularly hummable, but its lyrics certainly jump out at you: "Police of infidels, wait you Alawites, we come to cut your throats. Shiites, we are coming to slaughter you!" The singer is not a Syrian. From the accent he could be a Saudi. Thick beard, checkered shirt, purple jacket. He holds the microphone in front of the crowd, as if he is in a twisted karaoke club." (thanks Amir)
