Jews in Lebanon

There are many more Jews in Lebanon that people are led to believe by the statistics of American Jewish organization.  Just a few months ago, a schoolmate of my mother from elementary school at the Sainte-Famille school in Beirut, called her up after locating her number (obviously, after locating her number) and they reconnected after all those decades (my mother is 84).  And that classmate is a Lebanese Jew.
