One of the most uncovered stories of the decade

Without exaggeration, the not-so-secret violations of human rights in Guantanamo has been the most uncovoered stories of the decade. What I find interesting or revealing is that US media are not even interested. Do you know of the suicides and the hunger strikes there?  I once spoke to one of the lawyers who attended some trial for one of the detainees, the government translator was so off that the prisoner had to plead that his words are being distorted.  Typically, people are scared to touch it because they are afraid of being accused of sympathy with terrorists, although some have not been convicted of crimes.
