arrogance of power of Bashshar

Basically Bashshar Al-Asad feels that he has nothing to say to the Syrian people and nothing to apologize for despite the months of killings by his security forces.  He did express regret but only to interviews with the White Man working for Western media--Bashshar has the White Man complex as much as Walid Jumblat.  His arrogance is such that he can't even consider that there are millions of Syrians who hate him and who wish to see him go.  Those children of rulers like him are raised to think that all the people love them with the exception of agents of Israel.  They believe the propaganda that they manufacture.  If I see this man ever waiving to the Syrian people in orchestrated and choreographed settings, it will seem as if he is stabbing every member in the audience in the heart.  Does he think that the Syrian people are obligated to keep the non-glorious Asad family in power, despite its lousy record of not liberating the Golan while oppressing all Syrians?
