A source in Saudi Arabia sent me this: "Last week the government tried to take over one Shia mosque in Tarout Island which triggered demonstrations (the misque's shaikh Abdul Karim Hubail was frank in supporting peoples demands for human rights and they were trying to shut him up by taking over that mosque). On last Friday people went on the streets angry condemning that (). Sh. Nimr kept his strong Friday speeches condemning the recent list of 23 young men wanted by the government (). Last night there was some demonstrations, but tonight the police response is much much stronger."
