Syrian Observatory for Human Rights

This outfit has been the major source for much of the Western and Arab (Saudi and Qatari) media coverage of Syria.  Yet, there is not one single story about them and about its director, Rami `Abdur-Rahman (not his real name, of course).  But I am glad that a progressive British journalist is doing a story on them but I won't say more as it is his story to write.  It has become for all intents and purposes--and a bit more--and arm for Aljazeera Arabic.
