Professor jailed in Abu Dhabi

"Ibn Rushd" sent me this:  "Sorbonne has opened a branch in AbuDhabi. A professor there has been arrested and jailed for the past 6 months because he wrote anti-UAE-regime comments on the Net.
France having a big military base in the UAE & excellent relations with UAE leader is conspicuously silent. Sorbonne is also silent, saying he's only an adjunct professor and that his pro-democracy activism is unrelated to his teaching job.  President of Human Rights Watch France is protesting
