Lack of charisma among US puppets in the Middle East

Was thinking: when was the last time the US had a charismatic puppet in the Middle East?  I mean, look at the list: Hariri, Sanyurah, Abdul-NATO, King Abdullah (both of them), Hamid Karzai, Iyad `Allawi, Muhammad bin Zayid, Emir of Kuwait, etc.  What a bunch.
