Supervising the elections in Tunisia???

Comrade Ahmet in Tunisia sent me this:  "Asad..If confirmed, this is by far most inexplicable decision to be made and i can only see the dirty hands of France in all of this. He is correct in being concerned.  Baroud, as Minster of Interior, supervised the most corrupt election in Lebanese history EVER.  The election witnessed the infusion of some $800 million from Saudi Arabia for March 14, and the infusion of some $100 million from Iran for March 8.  I know this for a fact.  Plus, he allowed the Maronite Patriarch to issue a political statement a day before the election, in violation of Lebanese electoral law.  This may signal a farce election in Tunisia.  Tunisian revolutionaries: beware.
