New York Times is grieving for the Syrian people

More fake than Sa'ib `Uraykat's spectacles of sincerity are the attempts by the New York Times to feign concern for the Syrian people.  But look at this sentence:  "The Arab League is a disgrace."  This passes as deep analysis: it strikes me as the crude language of Thomas Friedman.  Can you imagine the New York Times ever writing that Israel is a disgrace, which it is, of course.
