Syrian TV denials

There is a trend in Syrian regime TV.  To avoid what actually is happening in Syria, they devote hours of discussion over most specific technical issues.  Like the would invite experts to debate for 3 hours--no kidding--whether Syria needs more potatoes to grow or more tomatoes.  And people get really serious and agitated, and both sides are excited in arguing.  They think that this will pass as "dialogue" that Bashshar promised.
