I was watching a propaganda piece in favor of the Syrian regime on NBN TV (the news station of Amal Movement--it has been more enthusiastic in support of the Syrian regime than even Al-Manar). It brought up, yet again, the role of the Syrian Army and said that it "restored dignity". So while it did not restore land, it restored dignity? Did they go to war in 1973 to restore land or dignity?
