"Caryle Murphy provides interesting detail on the March 16, 2011, intervention in Bahrain by Saudi Arabia.  There are a variety of notable elements in the piece:"  I believe that there is an exaggeration in her piece about the extent of Saudi-US rift.  In one week alone, the Saudi King has received top US officials.  Secondly, it is erroneous to maintain that the US endorsed the agenda of the protesters.  This is instant revisionist history: the US stuck with both dictators in Tunisia and Egypt until both decided to flee, under pressure.  (thanks Dick)
