Flash: US does support democracy in the Middle East

"Yemen and the United State discussed here on Monday details of the US aid presented to Yemen via the US Agency for International Development (USAID).  In a meeting brought together Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi and the American Ambassador to Yemen Gerald Feierstein, the two sides reviewed the implementation progress of USAID-funded developmental programs in Yemen as well as the possible means to strengthen the Yemeni-American cooperation.    Al-Arhabi and Feierstein talked about the final arrangements for the second ministerial meeting of Yemen Friends' Group to be held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, next March.  The Minister hailed the keenness shown by the US administration to mobilize the international support to assist Yemen addressing its challenges, affirming Yemen's willingness to develop the current and future cooperation relations with the USA.  For his part, the American diplomat renewed his country's keenness on the security and stability of Yemen, accenting the US readiness to carry on presenting all available assistance to Yemen."
