By the way, there are tends in fanatic Egyptian nationalism (fanned by some right-wing exile groups and by Mubarak family) that are as distatesful and repugnant as manifestations of Lebanese nationalism. After all, Taha Husayn wrote the book--literally, as Joe Biden would say--on the matter (Mustaqbal Ath-Thaqafah fi Misr). Here, Wikipedia is featuring articles in "Egyptian" accent. (thanks Ahmad)
