One should not tailer one's message to fit the sponsor, so to say. So he was interviewed today about a new bill in Congress that would compel Arab satellite channels to block those media that Alan Dershowitz find objectionable and that AIPAC defines as "terrorist media." I kid you not. So Hamzawi said that Arabs should understand that this came form American public opinion. Excuse me? American public opinion? People in Oklahoma and Iowa know about Al-Aqsa and Al-Manar channels and they forced their representatives to act? Oh, no. This is an area where it is indeed the work of the Israeli lobby. `Amr has a good mind but he is politically too cautious.
