I get very irritated when I hear references to the "Libyan Supreme Court." Court? Under Qadhdhafi? THis is like shura (consultation) under House of Saud. Or human rights under the Ba`th. Or rule of law under bin `Ali in Tunisia. Or good taste and feminism under Sheikh Mo in Dubai. Or harmony and concord in Lebanon. Or transparency under Fath. Or democratic transfer in power under Mubarak. Or Nintendo games under Jordanian King--he only allows PlayStation in the Kingdom. Or racial equality in Bashir's Sudan. etc.
