So Walid Jumblat, after expressing his sorrow over the passing of Prince `Abdul Majid bin `Abdul-`Aziz Al Saud, said that prisoners of conscience in Syria are suffering from the tyranny of the regime. This same person had supported the Syrian regime when it massacred thousands in the brutal crushing of the Hamah rebellion in 1982. He added that prisoners of conscience in Saudi Arabia are in fact enjoying their time and are not suffering at all.
