This "document" is as crazy and trashy as I have ever seen; and it comes from the US Commission on Civil Rights. Throughout the report, notice how criticisms of Israel are simply and casually equated with anti-Semitism. Look at this analysis: "This hatred of Israel does not exclusively stem from anti-Semitism, but also includes the demonization of America and the West as well. In this way, anti-Israelism from the left can be closely related to anti-Americanism. Over time, coming full circle, anti-Americanism endorses and devolves into anti-Semitism. And in cases where America is framed as a proxy for Israel andJews, anti-Americanism and anti-Semitism become one in the same." So according to the assembled experts of the US commission on civil rights, if you are opposed to Israel, you are not only an anti-Semite, but you are also opposed to America (people? Culture? Government? all the above?) No wait: it says more. If you are opposed to Israel, you are opposed to all Western governments (and people? cultures? etc). And let me ask this: do Zionist organizations in the US think that they will succeed in intimidating critics and opponents of Israel? Wait. I think that they already have succeeded. Never mind.
