Notice that the New York Times which repeatedly featured the demonstrations of March 14 on the first page placed the article on yesterday's demonstration in the inside pages. It also felt necessary to describe the demonstration this way: "The official goal was to overthrow the government, but the atmosphere was bizarrely festive on Friday as hundreds of thousands of Hezbollah supporters poured into the center of Beirut." Why bizarre? What was bizarre? That it was not violent? (thanks Laleh)
