I today saw Sen. John Kerry speaking in Beirut. I did not enjoy Sen. Kerry when he spoke in the US, and I enjoyed him even less in Lebanon. The Lebanese Minister of Defense, who during the war said that the Lebanese Army will teach the Israeli army "a lesson" if it entered Lebanese territory, said that the visiting US senators expressed admiration for the Lebanese Army. I bet. I am sure that they were impressed that the Lebanese Army let the Israeli army invade Lebanon without shooting at it. Sen. Kerry is trying to look presidential in the land of Hummus. Good luck--not really.
