Lies and Fabrications of LBC-TV: the From Lebanon segment yesterday featured Lebanese artist, `Imad Abu `Ajram--yes, I have not heard of him either, and I know something about Lebanese art. Of course, the segment contained the very ridiculous and absurd claims that you regularly see on that network. It said, for example, that Abu `Ajram was "rated" as one of the top three water color artists in the world. It did not say who did the rating. Was it a Hummus rating organization? I was not told. It also said that his name appeared in 7 encyclopedias: again, it did not identify the encyclopedias. It probably is the famous and reliable Hummus Encyclopedia which is used as the most reliable encyclopedia in Lebanonese schools.
