`Abdullah `Azzam: who inspired Bin Laden and scores of other terrorists

We in the Arab left, have long hated `Abdullah `Azzam, who traveled the world (at the behest of the US and Saudi Arabia) to recruit Jihadi terrorists to fight against the communists in Afghanistan in the 1970s and 1980s.  He is the one who gave that lecture in Saudi Arabia, which inspired Bin Laden and led him to travel to Pakistan to organize the Arab mujahidin, which later becomes Al-Qa`idah.  And because a newspaper attacked `Azzam, Saudi and other supporters of `Azzam, have created a special hashtag about him and reminding Saudis that he was (indeed) close to Saudi royals.  (the name of the hashtag below is "Midgets Dare to attack `Azzam".
