Syrian Observatory for human Rights

Almost daily for several years, Western media cite the figures and claims of Syrian Observatory in order to implicate the side of the Syrian regime (but not the side of the armed groups and gangs). Yesterday, the Syrian observatory provided a tally of the various civilians killed by US (and coalition) bombs in the war on ISIS. How come that didn't make it into the mainstream Western media?
