Who are the resistance groups in Gaza?

You would never know this in the Western press but it is not only Hamas that is resisting Israeli aggression in Gaza.  There are many other resistance groups involved in resistance and they include: Islamic Jihad, the Marxist Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Marxist Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and the staunchly secular branch of the Syrian Social National Party. But you would not know this in Western media because Hamas is a convenient shorthand, just as during the Cold War Zionist propaganda insisted that all Palestinian political organizations were communist.
