The Logic of Ambassador Ford

"Had the administration offered arms to moderate rebels two years ago, the opposition might control more ground than it does today, and extremists might exert less influence, he said."  Yes, it is true. Large shipment of arms back then would have transformed rebels from thugs, war criminals and Jihadis to liberal secularists.  For sure.  Who could argue with this logic?
