There is nothing in Israel that does not warrant extensive media coverage. There is a slideshow in the New York Times about "yoga poses" in Israel. Don't be surprised if they soon devote a whole slideshow to "potato slicing in Israel".  A women's protest against domestic violence in Beirut does not warrant coverage but yoga poses in Israel does.
