the fall of Yabrud

This is not my war. There are no victories for me in Syria.  I detest the celebratory reactions to battle front developments there.  Every victory is a defeat, and no defeat is a victory for any side.  The two sides of the warring factions are mirror images: they use indiscriminate violence; they resort to foreign intervention; they lie in their propaganda, and they kidnap women and children.
