Liz Sly on the accomplishments of US troops in Iraq

"An eruption of violence in Iraq is threatening to undo much of what U.S. troops appeared to have accomplished before they withdrew..." So these are the accomplishments: the US instigated civil wars around the country, invited Al-Qa`idah terrorists into Iraq, and after bloody wars, had the levels of violence briefly decline, and that becomes the accomplishment of the occupation.  Anything to show accomplishment although the success or accomplishments should be measured by the promises of the invaders: feminism, equality, democracy, liberation, and warmest relations with Israel (that was the funniest of the promises, you have to concede).
