Lenin's statue in Kiev

What does Lenin's statue have to do with the protests there? The leader of Ukraine is not a Leninist and the Ukrainian Communist Party is small and is part of the opposition.  Am I suspecting an American hand in this? You bet.  Those who staged the toppling of Saddam's statue in Firdaws Square (one of the worst political spectacles that was ever orchestrated by American covert operatives in the Middle East) can easily arrange for the toppling of Lenin's statue.
