Casually, Israel responded by shooting a journalist

"The incident was the worst flare-up in more than three years on the so-called Blue Line separating Israel and Lebanon, which fought a war in 2006. In August 2010 an Israeli officer was killed by a Lebanese sniper as he tried to cut down a tree along the border, and Israel responded by shooting two Lebanese soldiers and a journalist."
