thanking people on the blog

I need to explain as people often ask: when I thank someone at the end of a blog post (between parentheses) it only means that this person has sent me the link to which I am responding, or selecting a passage from the link.  The comments and responses are all mine, except in cases when I indicate that the post was sent to me by someone, and in that case their words would be between quotation marks and I do indicate that that X sent me this comment.
